& Licensed Massage Therapist
I'm Julia, owner of Alchemist Massage, and I'm an Illinois Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Crystal Therapist, as well as a Crystal Reiki and Usui Reiki practitioner. I graduated from National Holistic Institute's 900 hour Massage Therapist and Health Educator program in Studio City, CA in 2016 and have since worked in the Los Angeles, St. Louis, and Boston areas before settling in the greater Chicago area. Long before the seed of going to massage school was even planted, I had already cultivated an interest and trust in crystals as healing tools, so it has felt deeply in alignment for me to combine the two into something I can share with the world. The challenges I have encountered along this journey towards creating Alchemist Massage have helped me embrace a path of growth and uncover new layers of purpose, more ways to be authentic and share my passion for healing touch with my clients.
When I'm not massaging I love hiking and exploring with my family, camping, cooking, seeing live music, and collecting "too many" crystals.
Our approach
Alchemist Massage is a mobile service, so that means your session will take place in the comfort of your own home. Our integrative healing approach combines therapeutic massage, cupping, reiki, crystal therapy, and guided visualization and each visit is tailored to your specific needs and goals. Personalized care and compassionate support are the foundations of our work- we will try to meet you wherever you are along your wellness journey and customize our time together accordingly.
Mission
Because of the interconnected nature of our mind, body, and spirit, each of these aspects influences the others and our well-being as a whole. Our mission is to work harmoniously with every individual in order to create space for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing and transformation.
